About Us

We started serving the Tri-Cities and surrounding areas in 2020 offering affordable veterinary services while providing quality care. Thanks to our great clientele, we’ve expanded quickly. At All Tails Vet, we offer comprehensive in-house diagnostics, including bloodwork, urinalysis, digital x-ray, ultrasound, and a large pharmacy. We provide holistic treatments like laser therapy. At our surgery center in Jonesborough, we provide routine and more complex soft tissue surgeries by appointment.

However, we don’t just treat traditional pets! We routinely see exotics and some small farm animals.

Wednesday through Saturday you can expect an Urgent Care model at our Johnson City location (we accept walk-ins between 10am and 4pm unless otherwise stated). We see patients as walk-in only and see a wide variety of cases in a short amount of time. The wait times vary tremendously during our walk-in hours. Sick, non-emergency patients can expect a longer wait time. Each and every patient that comes through will see our veterinarian. However, many clients might not receive face-to-face interaction with the veterinarian due to the volume of patients that come through the practice as walk-ins. We have adapted to this system based on the need in our community. However, we understand that our system is not for everyone!

For this reason, we now operate as a traditional veterinary practice on Mondays and Tuesdays at our Johnson City location. During these two days we see patients by appointment and offer items such as nail clippings, anal gland expression, and boosters as walk-in services. We can also fill most prescriptions and have staff onsite to book appointments and answer questions. For those seeking a face-to-face traditional interaction with the veterinarian, this is our best option.
